Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Daphne, Alabama

The Trustees are responsible for managing the fiscal affairs of the Church in fulfilling the spiritual needs of the congregation and the greater community which the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church serves. The Trustees define a budget and appropriations at the beginning of each year and develops a uniform system to accept offerings and donations, pay bills and make purchases. All revenues and expenditures are documented by the board and evaluated periodically. The Trustees ensure the appropriate financial support is provided for the numerous ministries and outreach programs which are outlined in the missionary goals of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. The Trustees maintain all the building and property owned by the church, which includes Macedonia Gardens. The Trustees, working with the Pastor, make policy decisions regarding whether or not outside organizations may rent and use space within the church. The Trustees assess property insurance liability risks and ensure that all church assets are properly protected, and the church is in compliance with neighborhood and zoning regulations. The Trustees are guided in their ministry by Proverbs 3:5-6 which states “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto their own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
