Senior Mission Ministry
The senior mission ministry is one of the first ministries of the church. The senior Mission Ministry is the foundation of the church and its ministries. It is a soul winning ministry made up trained christian leaders. It provides opportunity to obey Christ's commissions to all christian women, to pray unitedly, to to study missions fields, to give accordingly to one's ability for christian fellowship, and to share Christ's presence. Through the following activities:
Monthly meeting with Bible Study, Visit the sick and shut in, have meeting in the home of our sick members when requested when a member of our ministry family member passes away we as a group take food and fellowship with the family. When we have a member of the church to pass away we as a group give a card to the family.
We do Community outreach by worshiping with Eastern Shore Rehab each month and by also providing home cooked meals to the Daphne City Jail on the 1st and 5th Tuesday of every month.
The Mission Birthday Celebration is held every November to promote the giving of Christmas gifts to the sick and shut in and residents at different nursing facilities in the area.
The mission ministry is also plays a very active part in the Thanksgiving Community Feast, the First Eastern Shore District Convention and Green Leaf Tea.
