preached his initial sermon with tears running down his eyes and was licensed
to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In August of 2005, Charles A. Jackson
was ordained by Dr. Tyler Hardeman, Sr., then the pastor at Lily Missionary

In June of 2009, Reverend Charles A. Jackson was installed as the pastor of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Daphne, Alabama. Under his leadership, the church has witnessed the blessing of God in many areas. The church has seen graceful growth in membership and the maturing of the church body. The upstairs of the Education Building, which houses 6 classrooms, a computer room and media room, was completed within two years of his appointment. The church later acquired two and a half acres of property directly behind the church, which now has 2 play grounds and a regulation size basketball court. Additionally, a Children’s Nursery was started to take care of the children whose parents attend Sunday worship service.

In 2014, an eight o’ clock worship service was implemented followed by breakfast. The church’s sanctuary was remolded and new pews were installed. Pastor Jackson gives all glory and praise to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for these accomplishments, as they have positively impacted the growth of the church and Sunday school attendance. Currently, Pastor Jackson serves as the First vice moderator of the First Eastern Shore, and is a certified teacher in the Congress of Christian Education. He is also an active member of Path to Peace, an organization that seeks equality for all and peace throughout the community.
